I got my life together. I got a nice job. I got a nice car. I got a nice house. I got everything together. I don't need some old guy telling me what to do. I wont be single forever, just because I don't want an older guy don't mean I will be single. I just don't want one in my life because they are condescending and think they know it all. Well they don't. They know nothing as far as I can tell and only want one thing. So as far as I am concerned. Older guys can stay the hell away from me. I don't need advice or anything. I made my own in the world and I don't need them now. Never will. They aren't attractive, they don't appeal to me.

Those are some pretty big generalizations about older people. I do feel the same way. I'm typically not sexually attracted to older guys. However, for me my interests seem to creep up on the age issue as I get older, not sure if that's typical. I find myself being interested mostly in guys who are at least 23 or older to about the mid 30's. Now being friends with older folks, they're good company have a lot of wisdom.

Old people not keeping up? I went on an 18 mile bike ride with a 67 year old guy, it was a challenge for me to keep up. Now granted he's been doing triathlons for 40 years and I'm about to do my first one next month and so on, but older folks who stay in shape can keep a pretty good pace physically and mentally in a lot of cases. Of course that all depends on the type of lifestyle you're after. I'd rather mingle with the more active crowd than couch potatoes as it help keep me motivated to do the same... Monkey see monkey do.

I don't there's anything wrong with being or not being sexually attracted to older people, it is just a preference. Although I do try to look at age as a number, not a concrete thing. There are guys who are 21 who look 50...and occasionally a 50 year old who looks 25...Just depends on their body type, genetics, whether they're athletic or not. Some people are just blessed...or cursed.

I'm younger than you are and have all that and three times more too and yet I don't consider myself to have all my shit together, I am still learning. Who's hiring you? Just because I have a certain preference doesn't make me a bad guy. I am who I am because of my life and nobody on earth is gonna change me. I am who I am. Just because i dislike a certain generation don't make me a criminal. Last time I checked. I can do whatever the hell I want. I can say what I want and not suffer any consequences and if it means me verbally going Ewwwww to an older guy hitting on me. Then that's my right. Older guys never take hints. They are constantly thinking they got a chance with me. The day they get with me is when hell freezes over which is ummmmmm never!!!!!

It happens to me as well, particularly on "dating" apps. However, guys are guys and are going to hit on whatever they find attractive, whether they're 20 or ... 80.

Although I am curious, how old is too old? Do you go by looks or by age?

Age. I won't go with anyone +5yrs than myself. They can be hot asf and I would reject him based on his age. Sounds bad I know but that's how I am. I just don't need an older daddy type, let him go drool over someone else for all I care

And very few people can keep up with me and i don't want someone being a drag on me and making me slow down. I won't for anyone.

Sounds like you have a lot more disqualifiers for who can date you than just age. Doesn't sounds like you would change a bit for a guy your own age, or older or younger than you.

I don't mind admitting that I look at guys of most ages (20-50), but I don't creep on anyone. I enjoy the scenery, but even with guys my age I leave it up to them to show some indication of interest in me first.

I have no expectation of developing any kind of "relationship" with anyone who is 10+ years younger than me. However, I would have a tough time saying no to a younger guy who was really cute who wanted to play. I have a very specific type that tends to be my kryptonite, the others might as well be female. Of course, I have different standards for LTR prospects. So far, I haven't had a problem with having to fend off many younger guys, though there have been a couple.
