Not sure what is customary in Italy with dating...perhaps similar as it might be over here. I'm never that big of a fan with going to the movies on a 1st date, usually wait till later on...I think by going to the movies you miss out on a good bit of conversation. I like to keep things simple...dinner and maybe a walk afterwards.
