Not interested?

So, i met this guy about 2 weeks ago. Since then we've
texting pretty regularly and i have met him in person a few times. He doesn't talk much when we meet he says it will take some time to warm up to people but still i feel kinda awkward because it is basically mw talking most of the time. He usually texts me first when i don't text him. Once ive asked him if he likes someone and he said he probably has some feelings for somebody and i know it isn't me. And i told him we should not meet then because i think i like him already in a joke way and he said "if that's what you want" i wasn't serious but that kinda hurt my feelings. Haha. after that happened we hung out again. I stayed at his place. We kind of cuddled a bit that night. He texts me pretty much everyday. But he gives me mixed feelings. I don't think he likes me more than friends or interested in me ever since he told he has feelings for someone else and the reaction of his i was convinced myself. Haha. I touched his back and played with his hair. But i don't know. Now he wants to meet regularly and do language practice. Maybe he is just bored. I don't know. Is there any chance he is interested?

There's always a chance. You just need to get to know each other better before you know. In the meantime, try not to let yourself fall for him more than you already have. He sounds conflicted but it appears he likes you enough to initiate contact with you. Would you be okay with just friendship?

It looks more like he sees you as a potential friend. I'd say that's what he's interested in. Not a romantic type of relationship, but a platonic one.
