Bottoming: Condoms stings, bb doesn't?
#1
Hey guys,

Can I please hopefully get some tips. I have done a lot of experimenting regarding bareback with my ex as well as my current friend with benefits.

Short story:
Everytime someone tops me with a condom, after 15 or so minutes, the penetration stings and I have to stop. Feels like there's an open anal fissure and someone putting light lemon juice on it with every push. It hurts. But when they take off the condom, I have seriously no pains..... the hell!?

Long story:
I am HIV neg, so was my ex and my current FWB (friend with benefits). We all got tested to make sure we are safe.

With my ex, I had about 2 months phase testing out different condoms, ranging from different brands to different textures (nude, ribbed, flavoured). Also tried different lubes with the condoms, water based and silicone based. Whatever condom we tried, after 15 minutes, the burning, stinging pain occured.

We got tested and that's when we started having unprotected sex. NO PAIN whats so ever. Even after 1 hour of penetration and resting, no pain with BB. So I told him to use a condom after a few weeks....... the pain started and I was so dumbfounded, could I be allergic to latex?

I've been to the doctor about this, saw a specialist and he looked at my asshole and he said everything was fine and said to just use a lot of lube and play safe. I also got an allergic test as well, I am allergic to dust and a little with cats. That's it...

So that relationship ended.

Anywhoo, the FWB, going on about 8 months now, he started using condoms of course and I told him that it might hurt me after 15 minutes. So, we always had quickies. The long sessions, again, it started to hurt when he used a condom and we had to stop and just jerk off or whatever. So we both got tested and both came back as neg, we started to BB and again.... NO DAMN PAIN......

I am seriously dumbfounded. Is my asshole allergic to condoms? I really hate it.....

hasher22, hello and Welcome to GaySpeak. Condoms are generally made of rubber, or latex as it is also called, but the problem with rubber is that some people are allergic to it. That's why there are also condoms available that are made of other materials (I think they're vinyl or polyurethane) but you'd have to go looking for them more specially. I'm sure they are available online somewhere. Rubber (latex) is part of these materials that are highly allergenic, like peanuts or bananas, so maybe you need to convert to some other forms of condoms.
It is also possible that because of the condom, your boyfriend-s has/have not been able to orgasm as quickly as they might doing bareback, so could it be that after 15 minutes of rubbing, your rectum is getting really sore? I'd go with the allergic, and try doing other condoms. They do exist.
This site for example might give you an idea.
