Yea it is our selves how are supposed to keep us self safe, but i can clearly remember how many of the ppl in my class who were surprised when they found out that condoms weren't a 100% sure, that some of the diseases could be transmitted just by body contact, or by the mix of body fluids, how are ppl supposed to learn about safe sex, if they dont even know that they are having unsafe sex? how are ppl gonna go and google the problems if they dont know that there is a problem..... :/

Despite what the government does or doesn't do at the end of the day you are responsible for yourself including making yourself privy to what STD's are and how to keep from getting and spreading them, granted we are disadvantaged when we aren't provided the necessary information.
