I'm not to picky about dates. My first date with my bf was a good one. We went out to eat then went for a walk and got to know each other.

Lol I feel the same but at this hour, when I'm finally at home. btw, yes obviously a special date would be something you usually don't do often, that's what special actually means. and well, that's what I started this topic, I'm not talking about other people likes, I was talking my own, this gonna be idyllic but for me. Now in a main relationship, I would choose date place one myself and one the other person, I think that's gonna be the fair. and I was talking about food because there's nothing more I love... than food. lol but yeah a nice date can be everywhere, any place the couple will enjoy, and feel comfortable and loves to do and be with each other... example I like biking, for me, would be very good to bike in a mountain with someone I appreciate, doesn't matters if rains or if I get dirty with mud for me that would sound cool

A nice meal at some restaurant followed by a walk by the park ( also giving him single red rose )
I am the angles that hold and surround you
I am the demon you're afraid to meet

I like to keep it real and just BE...and I want my date to do the same....... get laid and dating is not the same, you use dating when you want to really me... Ok I'm gonna stop this moment to rethink the word I said because maybe it wasn't the right one. Dating for me is when you met somebody on a place in a scheduled way, because you wanted to take a day of your week... meeting is more like when you want to get laid with someone, not really planned just the typical phone call, text whatever... If I'm wrong please tell me. And also thanks for sharing your wonderful story, that's why I started the topic, everyone has their Idea of a "perfect date", yours wasn't just planned, those ones are the best

We'd talk for a while about stupid things and share that awkward first date laugh where you know you have chemistry and then somehow you stop, share that look and end up kissing for the first time. Wine and autumn nothing matches better, yes the moment you realize that you and someone have chemistry is magical. Emiliano Wrote:A perfect date for me would involve three things. Good conversation, good food, and good sex. Yes, every moment can be enjoyable with the right person, no matter how complex or simply. Gemini Wrote:I'm thinking of a date I had a few months ago. It was still very warm out, and we went to this restaurant with a cobblestone outdoor patio with lots of plants and those twinkling white lights in the trees. We had a great meal, and then he asked if I wanted to walk. We crossed over to a beautiful waterfront park, walked and talked. It was late, so the area was fairly quiet, and we sat and watched the city reflected on the river, all the lights. It was so, so nice. Ah, that's cool, I'm sad because I can't really have someone this way, I mean, when the times comes and we know we're not that compatible as a couple, people just stop talking to me haha, meanwhile I don't matter to have this people becoming my friends... you were very lucky lol.

I certainly cannot pull off "perfect" or even close, and I don't expect it from others, accordingly. You can change the word perfect for Idyllic, I wasn't talking literally. Yes, the longest the term you have with someone, the special you have to celebrate, if you think in having a relationship where you don't celebrate anything, because everyday is the same to you, you can have it also. just good luck Meebs Wrote:I'm not to picky about dates. Yes neither I'm, I was talking about something you know... to celebrate with your longterm partner, you can see it the way you want. haha
