Yuck, milk! I don't drink that stuff. Lots of butter though, yes. Mashed potatoes is inconceivable without extra lots of butter.

I can eat mashed potatoes, it's just that -- why would I when there's pasta? And any other food in the world that isn't mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes is pretty much the last thing on my list of things to have. Last time I had it was when I was still living with my mom and going to the 7th grade...or something like that. Haven't felt like I've missed it so far.

Jeez, how many Brits/Euros dissing on tomatoes. Then again I can't think of Britain as a very good place to grow nice tomatoes.

As a vegetarian the answer has to be meat.

Does it now... Most vegetarians I know actually love the taste of meat and would eat it but ethics, something about animals having the right to life or something like that is what swears them off, or in fewer cases they find it is a healthier choice.

That would be like me saying I don't like ham. I do like ham, I just choose to not eat ham because of my spiritual belief system.

As for the OQ, I like food. Period. I don't eat enough of it, but anything you can think of that humans eat I eat. And I'm willing to bet there are things you haven't thought of that I have tried and like.

Like Chicken Foot, or monkey brains (real hard to get monkey brains fresh in the USA, sadly). Snake is the last thing I ate in my last ventures as a homeless person (Yeah Jason kicked a sick man out of his house.) it made the mistake of wandering into my camp and I was hungry. Spit roasted snake -yum yum.

PS, I'm willing to bet I would love long pig. I hear it tastes like bacon - who doesn't love bacon. Yummmm Long pig... I can hardly wait for civilization to collapse, it will be an all you can eat buffet.

If Trump eliminates food aid, long pig may become available. Heinz vinegar style BBQ sauce would go nicely with it.

Once upon a time we sent out a registration form for a convention. Amongst other things it asked folks to list food preferences, allergies or non-preferences. One fellow wrote back that he preferred not to eat giraffe.
