There's so many NYC history books I want to read. And I like to stay on top of educational theory books too, and books about society and race and various diasporas and immigrant experiences. I cant think of specifics off the top of my head, but those are the typical genres I gravitate to. I have very little self control when it comes to books, and I tend to buy and read the ones I see that stand out to me.

I bought a few books earlier this year. Haven't read much of them Tongue
Adam Baker's Outpost and Terminus.
And Brent Weeks' The Way of Shaddows 1. There's 3 parts.
I would like to read them.

I want to get this book but there seem to be a lot of versions so i am not sure which one i will get. I cut and pasted information about it. Smile

"Gray's Anatomy" is an English-language textbook of human anatomy originally written by Henry Gray and illustrated by Henry Vandyke Carter. Earlier editions were called Anatomy: Descriptive and Surgical and Gray's Anatomy: Descriptive and Applied, but the book's name is commonly shortened to, and later editions are titled, Gray's Anatomy. The book is widely regarded as an extremely influential work on the subject, and has continued to be revised and republished from its initial publication in 1858 to the present day.

I want to have read the bible and the quran.
I don't want to be reading them though... so it may never happen.

I am impatiently waiting for more releases in Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series.

Okay. A few then. Smile

I want to get my hands on this and read it from cover to cover: the critical edition of the Babylonian Gilgamesh Epic (the edition costs outrageous 500 EUR!):

This is absolutely on my list of books to read before I die.

Then this one on quantum physics:

These three textbooks on neuroscience (among others):

This one:

And these lightweight little books:

This barely gets me started on this topic. These are just a few classics and other long-term commitments of mine.

The first collected tales of Bauchelain and Korbald Broch by Steven Erikson. After I have finished a few bargain books on my kindle.
Then the Silver Kings by Stephen Deas and then The Red Queen's War by Mark Lawrence.
Don't doubt me, I have finished the Malazan series by both Erikson and Esslemont!
