I've never watched porn in public. Don't need to. Plenty of hot guys to look at everywhere. Why would I need to watch porn in public? Sure, I've popped a boner in public plenty of times (without any porn) and really wanted to do something about that, but I'm not gonna whack it out right there and start having at it, or start watching pornographic material for that matter. I can wait till I get home, or to another private area. Or just walk it off. I have absolutely no need to watch porn in public. And -- I do not share that stuff with strangers.

Some of the things should be private, in my opinion, to be known only by me and my sexual partners alone. I do not think we should all be moving towards having a grand public orgy of the streets.

I wasn't aware people did this. First time I hear of it. It seems kind of tacky to watch stuff like that in public. Nothing against porn, but come on! That's private stuff for your private parts.

(Downloading porn is another subject though. I have done that at work sometimes. Although I have a private area where not a lot of people get to glance at my screen to see what I'm doing. And I have a laptop so I can just flip it shut whenever I need).

From what I've read in the article and the reactions, it might seem like a good way to keep people at bay and keep yourself a cosy seat on public transport, if people are first tempted to move away from the offender rather than have to put up with embarrassment, or shame, or awkwardness.
