Ok, fun but so often I wish there was more interaction between the dancers rather than a
spreadout chorus line choreography. Much of Yanis Marshall's work  to my eyes has
the same problem.

Mathew Bourne's 'Dorian Grey'
Shame about the ‘music’ . At times like somebodies front door bell stuck on repeat.

 
I have gone off Matthew Bourne.  I saw his version of “Swan Lake” that was brilliant and original but since then, in my opinion, he has gone down and down.  I saw his version of “the greatest love story ever told” (Romeo & Juliet) that he set in a psychiatric hospital and in which (offstage) Juliet was raped.  He has his limitations as a choreographer and in his version of R&J he used elements of breakdance.  I also saw “Dorian Grey” and was singularly unimpressed.

To my eyes this comes across most of the time as a chorus line for two or a long and tedious courtship that’s never consummated.
The vacuous, repetitive music doesn’t help.
