Energy Drinks
#1
Do any of you guys drink energy drinks? (like red bull, monster, rockstar)

How are they? Which ones do you like/dislike and why/why not?

I've never had them before, so I'd like to learn your opinions of them.

I don't drink them anymore. I used to drink Red Bull but I found my self getting to hyper active and working my self up.

I think I must be sensitive to caffeine because drinking an energy drink will make me wired, and not a good wired. Panicky even, not good. I get the same result from a cup of coffee. So I definitely avoid them completely.

I don't really feel an effect.
I occasionally drink them. I forgot the name. But that's typically just because I'm thirsty and like the taste.

Recently I worked through the night on a report. I drank an energy drink in the morning. That's the one time I definately felt an effect.

I drink Monster daily, but I don't do coffee, so it's kind of my substitute vice... believe me I have worse vices.

I used to drink crazy amounts of lucozade. Then I realised how fattening that was and stopped.

Tried a can of monster once. Tasted like the scrapings from the bottom of some chemical VAT. No thnx

Does this mean you're an Englishman who doesn't drink tea?!

If ever you had to try something, you may want to try Jiaogulan tea. It tastes good, is energizing but not jittery like caffeine. It is a pretty plant, too. It's purported to have medicinal properties. I really like it.

I actually hate the taste of tea, so I may pass up on that suggestion Biglaugh

I do love the taste of coffee though. So I tend to drink decaff. Sacrilege in a lot of people's eyes Biglaugh
