What's your favourite/favorite genre of music?

I pickled Dance/Electronic.  The sub-genre I get into is freestyle.

Freestyle is a type of dance music that was popular in the late 80s to mid 90s, and instead of a loud bass drum driving the beat (like house music) it uses Latin percussion sounds.  The music will also use horns and other Latin sounding elements.

To be fair though, I like most things other than rap. I'm not really a fan of chart pop music either. Basically, the further underground and off the mainstream the music, I'm there.

I'm all over the place with music, myself. Metal, Punk, Blues, Pop, Rap, Country (very picky). I like whatever sounds good to me lol

I've gotten into Norse folk music in the last few years thanks to the Vikings series. 
Here's a few example;

Helvegen (here featuring Aurora) is a song about death, dying and remembering those who have passed. About crossing over and about letting go. It is a song about searching for lost songs and old traditions.
