I hate social media so I decided to join a forum instead

Social media is an absolute load of toss.

Though, what actually is the definition of social media? Are forums not also social media? Surely they were, at least, the first iteration of social media, alongside chatrooms and things like MSN Messenger. I just gave myself a blast from the past. That was traumatic.

I loved using ICQ, once I first arrived on the Net, around 21 years ago and it was a helpful system. I've used that, and Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger and they all seemed good, back then.

Are there any like that, now? I think ICQ is still available...not sure.
