This is what the original Devil's Trill Sonata sounds like. The story is that Tartini dreamt that the Devil came to him and played a melody. When Tartini woke, he rushed to write down the music he heard before he could forget it.
During his life, many people believed that Paganini sold his soul to the devil in order to be able to play with as much virtuosity as he did. It is now believed that he actually had no webbing between his fingers, allowing for longer extensions of his hand.
