Hows the Weather?

I was in Scotland too for Xmas & New Year! (Glasgow) It was really freezing up there about -10c some nights and yeah the snow was nice at first but I really hate when it turns into sleet and ice! Arghhhh

Places like Russia where the winters are about -20c seem to cope great without any disruptions so I think we have to invest more in infrastructure... better weather proofed public transport (trains, rail track, buses), road improvements etc. and huge stockpiles of salt to grit the roads everywhere and workers to do it all! :-)

It's dry atm in Brighton but still cold... about 1c but heavy snow is expected tonight and for the rest of the week! Eeek!

Love rain too, but only heavy rain/thunderstorms ... not slow drippy stuff LOL

As for the the weather here right now...2 words describes it:

Last evening we got a couple inches of snow (no big deal)
but the overnight temp got down to -8f
the high today was something like 10 or 12
now its back to 5f
looks like it'll be below 0 again tonight :eek: ...i hate this type of weather

Yeah, when it is too cold to snow it just sucks - when your breath freezes on your nose I hope we are just getting all the snow their predicting but it looks like it will just be a few inches and not the 100 feet of my dreams

Well what a wounderful day.

It felt warm today although it was still about 5 deg cel. But the sun was out all day and it heated up and melted of the last of the snow. We went for a walk in the country side today to celebrate having green fields again!!!
