That's too bad...

I didn't really say that. I said I couldn't necessarily talk to him (my father) about everything. That isn't a lack of closeness, that's because he was brought up in a very religious family and even although he's not remotely religious himself, he still has some hangups/baggage in that area which means that it is increadibly uncomfortable for him. I can't ever have a conversation about relationships if it covers any emotional (or sexual) ground.
