A technical question about TAGS

So, Andy, tell me how do the tags for a given thread get chosen... Is it the content of the title or the content of the posts that are analysed and then bring out tags??? How do these tags happen? It says below here that I can add 5 tags. Does that mean that tags will be automated in the meantime? Or do I have to write them in?

You can enter them manually yourself or if you don't the system will do it automatically for you - stripping out any commonly used words!
