Great there is some Fleetwood Mac here and there...but ummm, Stevie Nicks went on to a great solo career.

The Wild Heart's top hit - "Stand Back"
Bella Donna's top hit- "Edge of Seventeen"
And my favorite thus far of her's (though it was recorded with Fleetwood Mac)
"Rhiannon"

I would post a YouTube video, but I have to have 15 more posts to do so (I don't understand why this is, other than that I'm a new member Newbie )

I'm not posting at this moment, but I just wanted to say how warming for me to see that not all gay guys listen to just dance music. I was a metalhead in my younger days and have never really met another guy with similar tastes to me. My current fav heavier bands include The Exploited, Ramones, Plasmatics, Judas Priest & Marilyn Manson. But on the opposite end of the scale I'm also a big fan of 60s,70s & 80s 'mainstream' music including Elton John, The Faces & late 70s disco music. I still go to metal gigs but I'd also go to a Tom Jones concert at a drop of a hat.

Had the great good fortune to see the wonderful Arthur Brown again a couple of months ago. I think it was the most enjoyable gig I have ever attended, and over my life there have been a few hundred Wink What a performer AND he's 70 next year (feels like only a couple of years ago I went to his 60th birthday gig). His current band is almost the same as in this video. The band would be worth seeing just for Sam Walker on drums and Lucie Rejchrtova on keyboards. I think Lucie is probably the most accomplished and exciting keyboard player I've seen since Keith Emerson. I hope you enjoy this Confusedmile:

Shagrat were Steve Took (founder member of Tyrannosaurus Rex with Marc Bolan), Larry Wallis (who played with the Pink Fairies, Motorhead, Blodwyn Pig and UFO among others), and Dave Bidwell (Savoy Brown).

This song, Peppermint Flickstick, seems to be an homage to the Cadbury's Flake adverts that had such a profound effect on me and no doubt others of my generation (we all love chocolate, of course Rolleyes ).

I saw Steve Took perform with Tyrannosaurus Rex in London in 1968. That was a life-changing show. I saw Larry Wallis with the Pink Fairies a few times. I also had the dubious pleasure of supporting them at a gig in 1972. I don't think he was playing with Blodwyn Pig the times I saw them. The Savoy Brown Blues Band came up with one of my favourite song titles, "She's Got a Ring In His Nose And A Ring On Her Hand".
