Couldn't agree more. It's a beautiful song that I remember hearing on Saturday morning radio back when it was released. I had the pleasure of sitting and chatting with the singer and bass player at a school reunion a year or so ago. Here is another of my favourite songs of theirs, "Time of the Season" from their 1968 album "Odessey and Oracle" (yes, it really was spelled like that). Sadly there were all sorts of management problems and by the time the album was eventually released the band had already broken up. Colin Blunstone, with his achingly beautiful voice, went on to a reasonably successful solo career and Rod Argent formed, er, Argent. The Zombies reformed recently for a 40th anniversary reunion and to play Odessey and Oracle live for the first time.
