Thanks for that, Rychard. I'd forgotten how good that was! Now I shall have to see if some of those other bands with two drummers have any YouTubes ...
The sublime (maybe ...) I was looking for some early Grateful Dead after Mickey Hart joined Bill Kreutzmann on drums, but couldn't find any, so here is a 2009 noodle from the Rhythm Devils, also featuring the Dead's Phil Lesh
To the ridiculous. The extra drummer is entirely superfluous
I think the Cozy Powell is more interesting than either of those.

The drums, oh the drums. Excellent!!!
I leant this song on drums and guitar when i was about 16, our music teacher hepled..it prob sounds more complicated than it is but its loads of fun to play - havn't played drums for a few years now so would need a bit of practice to nail it again though.
Rychard the Lionheart Wrote:Drum Duet - Phil Collins and Chester Thompson drums
Great stuff!!!
Absolutely! Phil Collins looks and sounds so much better behind a drum kit than he does propping up a mic stand. Chester Thompson is also impressive. Now you've made me look up drum duets by some of my favourites including Ian Paice and Chad Smith or Chad Wackerman and Terry Bozzio. I'm not a huge fan of Yes, but there is also a rather fab duet between Alan White and Bill Bruford on YT. But surely the drum battle between Buddy Rich and Animal has to be one of the greatest encounters of all time

Found this today, it should be posted in Rock music II but is a drum duel so I will let it go. I hope you enjoy it.
Gotthard - Battle of Giants
A drumming "battle" between singer Steve and drummer Hena. Great performance.
