is my boyfriend gay/bisexual? PLEASE help me.

Hi everyone! I came on here to ask for advice from you because I'm really in quite a dilemma. I'm a straight girl, and have a boyfriend. We've been dating for a year now. We're cool. Please help me out, do you think he is gay or bisexual?

he's not gay because:
1. sex drive is SUPER high when we're together AND gets turned on (hard, horny, etc) by me
2. He is very sexual towards me. We have a really good sexual relationship. I don't think he can fake this part at all since there's physical evidence..
3. We are in a really serious and meaningful relationship.

he might be gay/bi because:
1. His voice is just really girly
2. always says he has an accurate gay-radar
3. mentions to me that he wishes guys had better accessories and clothes, because compared to girls, they have none.
4. He always talks about why he thinks Taylor Lautner isn't very good looking and talks about how his forehead is weird looking (I MEAN WHO NOTICES THOSE THINGS?)
5. he's very conscious about the way he looks (eyebags, etc)
6. general gay mannerisms
7. others have noticed he's very feminine
8. When I asked him which female celebrity he thinks is hot, he says, "noone really." But when we started having a conversation when I was talking about, "Oh I think John Mayer is hot, but not goodlooking." He's like.. "i can see how you can say that."

i think it isn´t easy to answer.

And I don´t think, that it is the best way to classify him by some more or less important questions. By example... I know some really feminine Hetero-Guys and some really masculine gays.
For my opinion the best way would be to ask himself... very carefully and make sure that he can really feel safe with you.
And if he is... the world will not going down for your both. There is only a Situation you both must talk, talk, talk about feelings, the Situation... and much more.
And for my opinion - if maybe something happend with him and another guy some day - thats not a Sign that he did not love you !
I say it again... there are more colors than black and white... nobody should be classified only by his sexual behaviors.
There is no need to end your partnership, it´s only a other kind of staying together.

I don´t think your questions will bother someone around here, your questions are a sign that you are really interested in your bf.

nothing to really worry about. If he's into you, let him be... and if you're in a "really serious and meaningful relationship" have an open and honest conversation with him. Perhaps he's just 'metrosexual'...

or perhaps you're looking for a reason to end it with him because your 'friends' have made some less than flattering comments about your boyfriend...?

Could it be possible that he is just a metrosexual guy just like David Beckham? He sounds metrosexual to me.

I agree with Vikta, if both sides see the relationship as a serious relationship, just put aside all hesitations as they could lead to a problem in the future.

Feminine does not necessarily mean gay. Macho does not necessary mean straight. He could be bisexual but if he does truly love you, that's that really. Full stop. He has chosen you over a guy. That's what matters.

He sounds like he is metrosexual ...all of the classic signs. Definitely not gay IMO...possibly bi but so many of the traits you mention are more classic metrosexual traits versus bi traits.

There are far more macho gay guys than effeminate ones. We like MEN! On the other hand we can mostly appreciate a good-looking, sexy woman and you could even get the impression that we are flirting with one at times. But that's as far as it goes, except for the bisexual men of course.

Try this - just suddenly say how much you love penises, if he agrees then he may well be bi or gay!

Seriously though - could just be thats all part of his personality. None of those things alone or combined would mean someone is gay, it comes down to sexual and emotional attraction. You may just well have you one of those rare guys who is comfortable with himself - rare, but less rare these days.

Definitely true...and I do flirt with sexy women and have no problem listing my top 20 sexiest women in a minute or less:biggrin: and I think Milla Jovovich actually makes me drool ...but I am 100% gay.

Absolutely no reason to worry about offending anyone by bringing your concerns here ... except maybe your boyfriend? It sounds like you personally are not going without and that the observations about his attitudes and outward behaviour amount to pretty circumstantial evidence really. How would he feel about you asking a bunch of strangers to comment on the observations of your friends? I'm not entirely sure what it is that's worrying you? If you think he IS gay and will be leaving you for someone else, you can be sure there are no real guarantees in straight relationships either.

You don't say how old you are. Younger men sometimes take a while to realise their true colours.

If you are worried about something specific, you are going to need to have that conversation or else you put your worries to one side, get on with the relationship and make the most of what you have. There are many people, gay and straight, who would love a super-horny boyfriend who's always ready for action

It's a tough call. He's gotta be metrosexual based on what you have written. Now the 8th reason why you may think he's gay/bi, he is seriously into you and he finds no other girl hot (except for you). I was like that with my partner and I've yet to see anyone as beautiful as him. I don't find any other guy hot at all.
