Rungholt is a - in a storm - sunken North-Sea Island ... and its a legend say that you can hear the Bells of the Church in clear nights or if something bad happens...




The Biike ( 2 i ) is a woodfire that burns every year on 21. February along the German-North-Sea-Coast. The tradition comes from pagan times where - at this date - bad ghosts from the sea should be banned into the sea .. that they can´t visit the coast.
I later times it was a farewell fire ... for the whale fishery...
