i'll admit i am, and correct most misconceptions on it
there are two misconceptions going through allot of minds right now
A: i'm talking about guys who are naturally hairy, not what im talking about
b: most people hear furry and think the stereo type of people who dress up as animals so they cat get it on thanks to some wierd @ss beast fetish...uh...no...
Furries are Anthromorph fans, an anthro is a half human half animal (Varying degrees) science fiction or fantasy character. anyone that is a fan of a story/videogame/movie with these in it, or these direclty, are an anthro fan, shortened to furry.
Anthromorph fandom came about in the 80's thanks to an old anthro comic that was shown at a sci fi convention, the now discontinued comic (though ti did try to come back, twice) received a huge fan base, and thus the "furries" where born.
Yes, some furries do dress up in costume and go to anthro/fur conventions, just like some people dress up as klingons or bobba fett and got to sci fi cons, or as...old women... in very little other than chainmail... and go to ren fest....
...anyway do some dress up as animals to "Get it on" or as it is termed in fur talk, Yiff?
sure, about the same percentage that dress up as klingoons and Data to do the same (mmmm data...i mean!.... walks away slowly hoping no one noticed)
so if your a furry why not mention it below, and if im the lone fuzzbutt here, oh well!
