East Wrote:Shame on me...I didn't wwelcome you....welcome...and...Greetings!

I am eastofeden from the somewhere eastofedenWink and I have a;lways wondered if there was a cure for people who have been brainwashed by the Bible? If so...please tell me what to do to help the others who have this infliction? I look forward to freeing alot of people's minds from the tyranny and oppression of organized religion:biggrin: I can only hope there is a cure.

Unfortunately, dear East, it's called intelligence and perspective, there not too much of that going around, apparently. RolleyesWink:biggrin::tongue:

To be honest, some of the teachings of Christ make sense and are good, it's what humans have done for, with, to those teachings that is wrong. It's a shame that Jesus Christ didn't write his own philosophy book and that it had to be reported (with each apostle's hidden agenda and personal vision probably) years or centuries later by people who may or may not have known him in person.
As for the definition of "sin", there are many things that were once "sinful", not just in the alleged eye of God, but in the eyes mainly of societies that have moved on. Are they still considered "sinful" today? I think it would be more useful if you explained your definition of a sin, Wilson and why homosexuality is a "sin". Is an elephant or a giraffe a "sinner"? These animals don't go around asking themselves if they should indulge in this or that sexual practice. They just get along with what they find naturally. I don't think a male dog humping another male dog has ever been stoned for his "sin", nor has anyone tried to make it act differently through the teachings of any church. Society has only devised the idea of sin and the idea of homosexulity to be sinful because it needs to reproduce itself to sustain itself. Think of it that way... Today, with a world population of 6 billion plus, do we still need more children and more humans to feed and take care of? What's going to happen to the rest of the species, because of our depredation? I think the way we don't look after this planet well enough (and go to war over stupid ideas) is a "sin". If you go by that, there are so many "sins" that we commit every day and against our fellow men and creatures that we should all die instantly... ???

o,o wow that was just awesome princealbertofb, but I know a guy from high school who gay, love god and Jesus this was when I was straight (bi now) I keep telling him gay was a sin because my grandpa was a Pastor and he tell me it was a sin but now I think it just dumb that two man or woman who love one other be call a sinner. I know I did thing when I was young that I'm not so happy but that made me who I am today, a very kind, caring, loving man.

This "gay man in an open straight relationship" made his way here because "it came to me in a dream".

Wilson Wrote:Greetings. I am Pastor Wilson from the Roseton Church, and I come only to discuss with you a subject I am curious about.

A cure. I have wondered all my life if homosexuals could be cured of their affliction, I wanted to help them. Do you know anybody who has been cured of homosexuality? I have set up camps and booths inside the church, to help homosexuals overcome their affliction.

Please, tell me of ways I can help you, help yourselves.
Thank you, and since this is my first post here, I look forward to meeting you. Astrosmiley2

Really, pastor, it's only a matter of time before your sort get caught balls deep in a rent boy, so do stay in touch. The rest of us can then entertain ourselves running a sweepstake on when that will be. I'll say December.

Keep us posted.

(I know I shouldn't feed the trolls but who can resist.)

Another question, Wilson do you regard homosexuality as a sin or a disease? Your posts seem confused about this.
