LoveGame Wrote:What? So that's a no. You just reminded me of this guy I know who is named Tony.
I guess it's not you though.
So, maybe someone else has had the same misgivings about your situation as I have?
LoveGame Wrote:I am going to college, then decide if I will stay with him or pursue fame.
College doesn't hurt, and I'll get it for free.
yeah, college, and fancy trips too. I can't regret that.
This relationship does feel funny playing the dumb "bimbo" lmao.
See, this right there tells me that there is so much more to you. It tells me that YOU realize you need to spend a lot more thought on this issue you have.
You need to see that there is more to you than being someone's possession. You want an easy way to financial security, but, you know what? That stupid saying: "money can't buy you happiness" -- I kind of think it's true. Self-worth and dignity that come from inside yourself are going to give you meaning, and the self-respect ^^^ that you obviously seek.
So, don't rush to marry this guy. Have you thought that verbal control may lead to physical control? What if you meet someone later and actually fall in love? What if while you're in college, you meet someone your own age and you want to spend time with him? What if you say no to your bf and he hits you? There are no "shelters" for battered gay-guys. This sounds like a plot to a bad TV Drama. Is this guy also selecting your major for you?
You say you lack talent, are considering porn, and stuff but have you considered just getting a job? Have you considered figuring out what your talents really are? Have you considered that YOU may need time to just figure yourself out? Where are your freaking friends? Your family?
Why do you want to be a celebrity? A celebrity, really? I always viewed them as miserable people that yes, have money but also more problems and addictions than simple old you or me.
The thing that concerns me is that all your options revolve around using: using someone to get ahead, allowing yourself to be used by someone else, and the porn thing is allowing an industry to use you. Yeah, I watch it but come on, I get the sense that you don't want that for yourself. I also think they have other jobs to supplement their income.
Everyone has dreams, but I think as we get older those dreams need to turn into goals that are based in reality.
So, I hope you hang around. I hope we can argue some more about this. I don't think YOU've found your solution yet.
