Pretty much, you see that on Craiglist a lot, and on a lot of forums too. They describe everything they want, and masculine too, and then stick the "No Homo" in at the end. I don't know why they couldn't just say masculine guys, and leave it at that.... The irony is just way too funny, though I'm pretty sure the guys asking for that consider themselves not gay at all, just because they suck dicks and take it up the ass.

Yeah i thought it was insecurities at first but some of the people i know take it way too far sometimes... For example: Guy A, let's call him Deric, and Guy B, Terry, Are walking opposite ways in a semi crowded hallway on a friday night. Right as they are about to pass eachother Deric grabs Terry by the shirt and slams him against the wall pinning him in place. He then moves his face slowly towards Terry's and at the last second let's go, steps back, and shouts no homo and looks around at all the bystanders who all begin to laugh like it's the funniest thing they've ever seen. Terry chuckles a little too but looks slightly disturbed. Eventually Terry becomes desensitized to it and joins in... wth?

That's not exactly new, some guys used to play gay chicken when I was in high school, see how gay they could act before giving in. Silly things teenagers do, that's the least of gay people's worries.

i remember once though that someone shouted no homo while i was in class when i was in the 12th grade and i shouted out NO HETERO everyone looked at me crazy some even laughed

but this is what i dont get: if you know you're not a homo, why say no homo.

Methinks Deric has the hots for Terry, and won't admit it to himself... or he's a performer and is dying to get the attention he's not getting, or he knows Terry is having doubts and he's actually bullying him. It could be any of theses. Why don't you confront him with it? I daresay he's not the kind that you'd like to ask about his insecurities.

In a way, I feel it's a bit weird, why bother saying no homo, I remember when I was in the 6th grade or so, guys slapped and grabbed each other's butt and not say anything at all. I usually just laughed it off, but really felt uncomfortable, damn peer pressure and fitting in!!!!!
