Christians and the Bible

XRIMO Wrote:There seems to be an error in there (I don't know if you made an error Fred, or if its the Bible).

Julius Caesar was not alive in the year 5 BC, and certainly not in the year 1 AD. He was assissinated in 44 BC. I think you (or the Bible) mean Augustus (or Octavius before he changed it) Caesar. Sorry if I'm being nitpicky, but my history senses were tingling.

No need to apologise. Its more than a nit pick and you are also correct. I was one of the Caesars but not Julius, I had managed to get it into my head it was Julius.

Thanks for pointing out my error.

lol, I can't let my history lessons go to waste, especially when it comes to talking smack about religion.

I was raised Catholic (I guess I'm technically still being raised but you get what I mean) and wanted to be a Priest for years until I finished reading the Bible and realized it was an odd little thing. So I'm not as polished on scripture as I used to be, but I still know a thing or two.
