Hm, this makes the "A gay presence would make others gay!!1!" argument make a whole lot more sense, it turns it into a temptation sort of thing.

Except a gay presence wouldn't make other gays. It might help someone in denial admit the truth, but a straight person wouldn't change orientation just from being around a gay. True though that those arguing about this may be hiding something, and afraid of what might become revealed about themselves.

I think homophobes are cute (when they are not being violent). They like to try to get you to be straight but they only get turned on by your sexual orientation. When they try to convert me I just use innuendo and they become all turned on by the idea of being gay and they hate that they enjoy those feelings. LOL

I once worked in a store that sold hand made pizzas and I was forming a pizza crust and the center of the crust bulged out and this guy who was homophobic said....."Look, that looks just like a woman's breast." and I said, "No, it reminds me of what a scrotum looks like when you're squatting down and looking up at it". Then he said, "OMG, you ruined pizza for me. I will never be able to eat pizza again."

Another time, this homophobic guy said to me..."Don't you just love a woman with silver dollar sized nipples?" and I said, gesturing to my own chest, "Can you imagine ME with silver dollar sized nipples?" And he said, "ACK! Stop that! Your trying to make me gay!"

That would lead to the notion that being Gay is a choice rather than a destiny and that gay can be a taught behavior but on the other hand phobias are psychological issues that need intense psychotherapy and medications to manage and resolve. Gay is not a psychological problem but has been often misconstrued as one! Now I believe that there are gay men with real metal illness such as phobias,schizos,manic,unipolar and bipolar disorders just to name a few but there are those gay men who have even deeper psychological problems that are on the psychopathic spectrum the homicidal and suicidal types that hate themselves and everyone else and there are anti psychotic medications for them and they cannot be left up to there own devices! This test for Homophobic men has a bias and it proves nothing but the simple fact that homophobic men are just gay men with a phobia about themselves and others like them and need medications and psychotherapy treatment.

I can't help but feel that people are thinking that I'm saying that a gay presence makes other people gay as well. I wasn't, I was mocking those that say that.

While also saying that this research may make those that are against gays being around them make more sense as they'll be more likely to admit that they, themselves are gay, like what jbrowder said. And in order to avoid that they are just claiming that being around someone who is gay would literally turn you gay and simply can't stand to be around someone who happens to be gay.
