I was going to say basically the same thing LOL

Since I've never watched I can't say "it sucks" or "its good" Laugh

Glee is the product of heavily commercialized entertainment by the same industry that thinks it can mas-produced music, theater, film, etc and still call it art. Its appeal is base which is why it has such a large following. No insult intended toward you, Twazzle, but its television, and television is rarely a thinking man's entertainment.

We're all allowed opinion...it's true though that Glee is way too commercialised. Maybe it started out well, but now it's lost it's original storyline/purpose. Yet, of course, we all have our tastes in TV and stuff.
I don't think Jersey Shore is meant to have a message or anything, it's just fun. We always need a couple of shows like that, that are just...fun. And if the viewer is smart enough, he won't fuss over how ridiculous it is.
I wonder if I should say a bit about my love for Disney Channel shows here because it's a similar 'problem' with them, or I should start a new thread. I'm just not sure anyone would comment there...

TV is intended for some light relief - To be a thinking man 24/7 doesn't sound fun Smile But the whole idea of the show and the way it has been produced has been done by a very clever team that has maximised the revenues and sale ability of the show to the full !

I learn to love it more and more.
