A new dream thread.

I just noticed the locks on the threads below this one are creeping closer!

This is actually from back in June & I was gonna post here but forgot about it...I didn't remember this one exactly at the time I wrote it gown, but it went something like this:

We were having some sorta family get-together & were out on the deck (maybe bar-b-q'ing) .. my sister started asking me some questions/or said something that basically outed me to the parrents who were standing right there. Then ofcourse mother started in on me... I cut the conversation off before she could finish saying something to the effect of "doesn't matter now I'm going to find a bridge to jump off soon"


You know that way nightmares "scare" you in your sleep? ... Interestingly this dream didn't do that...I simply "knew what I had to do" - find a bridge and take care of things.

I know basically what caused this one. A day or 2 before having it I accidentally almost outed myself to my mother :eek:

Glad to hear it wasn't "frightening" like a normal nightmare. But what do you mean, you knew what you had to do, "find a bridge and take care of things"?

I understand you're referencing a comment your mom *might* have made if you hadn't cut off your sister.

I had a dream I went to the forbidden city in Beijing on a tour and looked all around.
Then seduced a 30something businessman and started an affair.
O_o then there was a really lovely park sort of thing that sat on the peak of a mountain, and it was full of tourists.
An I think the dream ended in a pagoda. A really nice pagoda too.

By "find a bridge and take care of things" I guess what I'm saying is I simply knew what my one option was, and had no fear of shall I say "finishing myself" LOL

I guess that's the part that concerns me.

You're saying that if you were outed in your dream you'd feel compelled to jump off a bridge?

This is probably my favorite dream...Because it's the only one I have on and off

I'm gonna make a dream prediction.
Tonight, I suspect I'll dream myself as a target for a powerful force. I and a few companions, try to get away, but we don't know where we can go to be safe, and my legs feel like they aren't moving as fast as they need to be. They'll feel like they're stuck.
I'll post the result tomorrow morning.

Normally I suggest when there's a stranger in your dream it's usually one aspect of YOURSELF. And a faceless character seems like a perfect way to present some other slice of your SELF to yourself.

But in the case I'm not so sure. Could be an expression of your craving for some company--some romantic company obviously, and the fact it's near the beach (when you live in the desert) is a nice contrast.

You might be craving BOTH.
A guy.
And a beach break.
