A new dream thread.
All right then:
I had this one years ago, 22/12/2010 apparently (i recorded it on my phone)

I was hiking on a mountain, when I came across a strange cabin that was just box shaped and was furnished like a normal kitchen/living combined room.

I had a vision within my dream of the past where celebrations were held in this room.

Then there was an earthquake and I left hastily and ran down the mountain where there was a very grey foggy harbour with lots of water taxis.

That scene, Earthquake to running down to the harbour kept replaying again and again. Until I suddenly found myself on the way home in the water taxi which now drives land as well o_o. I felt safer but the air was still grey and foggy despite being away from the harbour

But suddenly I was back in the cabin, and it was snowing outside. I think i just stayed there... I don't know why I just did. And I think it was that the windows which made up the walls of the cabin didn't actually go outside, they just showed a scene of a mountain side. I was just stuck in there, in a cube on a mountain-side, and that's where the dream ended, as I recall.

Tonight, I suspect I'll dream myself as a target for a powerful force. I and a few companions, try to get away, but we don't know where we can go to be safe, and my legs feel like they aren't moving as fast as they need to be. They'll feel like they're stuck.
I'll post the result tomorrow morning.

Well, I didn't have that dream. But I think it means that my parents want me to get on with life, and get a job and stuff like that. I'm sure there's a much deeper meaning.

Hiking on a mountain--could be symbolic of setting off on a large project.

Cabin--could be symbolic of a temporary house, which is to say, represents a phase of your life (celebrations?)

Earthquake causing you leave the mountain--obvious disruption to this phase forcing you away, down into the fog.

Fog--symbolic of uncertainty.

Replaying of earthquake and running down to harbor--could be your brain working on a solution to "get back home". But you ended up back at the cabin, your temporary "home" so to speak, back where you started, and it's snowing.

Lots of symbols of "change". Fog, water, snow are all forms of water in different "phases", liquid, vapor, solid.

Windows that don't open to the outside but depict a "fake" mountain view--could symbolize a fraud or a trick to any potential you might have been promised.

Your dream sounds like it's about a time you were in a temporary home after hiking to get there. And there were some celebrations and some disruptions, which caused you to leave but enter a foggy period where you tried to get back. When you did, you found the cabin in the snow now and the windows (your view out) are not real, and you feel stuck.

Anything ring a bell?
Smile
Cool dream.

I had a dream were I was horse-playing with a hunk wearing a speedo inside of a white room with white curtains blowing in the breeze and a jacuzzi in the middle. Smile then I woke up right before we kissed Sad so close.

Why a bridge? Well, bridges usually two span sides of something. We use them to cross over to the other side. You seem reluctant to cross. You venture out a ways, and then threaten to jump if forced to go too far.
Nope no jumping off bridges for me (at least not in real life). Now if I was in A Lucid Dream...then I'd do it as a way to take off and fly! (flying in dreams - esp the Lucid ones - is totally awesome) Smile

In real life there some lines I wouldn't want to cross...like what that dream brought up...if it happened it would be a very bad thing

I've always wondered why dreams tend to end just before the climactic scene is about to happen. Is it because the excitement wakes us up maybe?
It's also so frustrating >.< especially when I'm dreaming about a mystery.

I know a hate that, a while back I had a dream that me and some family and friends were getting ready to drive to a theme park and before we got in the car I woke up and all morning I felt sad because I really wanted to go.Biglaugh
