i'm telling you, try the aftershave balms. while they won't turn sharp ends to soft tissue, they do smoothe you out a bit, and they additionally smell very nice.

Most come with plastic guards of varying lengths ranging from 3/16" - 3/4" so you can trim the hair to specific needs.
