Smurlos - thanks for the hug dude. I get what you mean. Does your other half ever offer to pay? Can he afford to pay? Could you do things that would help you stop paying out, eg when you meet for lunch do a romatic (or not if you're not that way inclined) picnic. Doesnt have to be sweaty cheese sarnies, think of something different. Will still cost a bit but not as much as ready made.
Yes I lurve Peace of cake. The cinema used to have it (it was my cinema treat!!) but now they have stopped. Their equivalent is the low fat stuff, not as good but at least its low fat.
The downside of buying ice cream is that I have no freezer so I tend to eat it all in one go otherwise I have to risk putting it in the horsebox freezer, which often breaks, cant risk wasting ice cream!!!
Awww yeah he always pokes his card in before I get to and stuff all the time bless him. I'm just like that though, I prefer to pay. But yeah, see that's the thing. He doesn't like to stay in? So like even if we just go for a walk... we drive to Southend seafront or summat and so that uses petrol? (most of the time he drives though) or we go to the cinema or out for a drink - see a drink, even that costs ya like £6 nowadays and it only takes up an hour or two... I like to stay in not every day, but say once a week? Watch a movie - or rent a movie - make a pizza at home, that kinda thing. But not really what he likes... not sure why. *shrugs* Oh well.
As for peace of cake not being done anymore, argh yeah it's so annoying! Our cinema did it and Tesco sold the big tubs? Now all I can get it from is our work's vending machine at £2 for a tiny pot... daylight robbery! I might complain to B&J's!!!! The low fat stuff tastes manky, I hate oatmeal cookie dough BRING BACK PEACE OF CAKE AND ITS YUMMY CHEESECAKE BASE!!! *lights torches to go on the rampage with penny*
