Been lucky enough to be in the company of open minded people so I haven't really had to deal with straightforward discrimination.
If there's been something that has annoyed me, it would be some prejudicial/homophobic comment coming from someone who professes to be for equality but doesn't really realize the nature of the BS he or she is spouting. And it's really frustrating to try to argue against this since he or she openly declares that he or she has nothing against gay people.
