If this is just curiosity about sexuality then I'll add some thoughts, though I'm a gay woman (and not all gay women would answer as I would).
First, I've indulged in very little porn and erotica, and plenty of times was more out of curiosity. Strangely, even a drawing of 2 clothes lovers staring into each other's eyes can be more a turn on to me than footage of people engaged in some mechanical sex act (especially if those doing it for the camera look like they're there more for the paycheck than the experience). (I'll also add that some straight porn for males that advertises itself as extremely wild comes off as unimaginative and bordering on vanilla to me...and I HATE it when a porn story preaches at me, at least seems to, as a couple have done. One was about a guy who pushes his wife to have sex with another man and when she finally does he can't stand the sight of her, and there was some dialog about how love should only be between two people, apparently sex only for love, and I was like WTF that this was even in a porn story.)
As for the porn and erotica I've enjoyed, the GENERAL (with exceptions) that I've enjoyed has been done by women for women...be it gay or straight. (Interesting enough, I freaked out at 13 when I stumbled across hardcore porn mags that included lots of motor oil being involved, and yet it was much more acceptable when I saw a lesbian version of that in On Our Backs though it came with a story, was black & white rather than in garish colors, the women looked like real people who were enjoying the experience, and I was an adult.) I'd literally rather see straight porn aimed at women than lesbian porn aimed at men, because the lesbian porn for men almost always leaves me cold, and tends to be awkward at best.
I know some point out that about the Japanese comic art of gay male lovers that appeal to women, but that's mostly written by women for women. Another type is written mostly by men for men and it's flavor is very different. There are exceptions in that a few women prefer the kind aimed at men and vice versa, but those are the exceptions. (I read through some of the gay erotica of gay males aimed at women and at first I didn't realize it was 2 guys as one was so feminine, including in being significantly smaller than the dominant male, and it pretty much followed a romance formula. It was only after the clothes came off that I realized it was 2 guys.)
That said, one straight woman (with bi tendencies) told me she prefers the gay male porn for gay males as the men in it are hotter than in any other type of porn and "they get right to it."
