why did we abandon this thread?

It's been raining heavily since morning. It's cold. I am at home alone. A perfect opportunity to climb into my bed and watch a movie. My laptop won't cooperate though.

So I am ironing. At least I am not that cold anymore. What's the weather at your place?

Bright, warm and sunny! It has been the same all week. My brother, who lives in Oregon, forgot how great the weather is here in New Mexico. I am doing some gardening this morning, then planning on taking a dip in the pool around noon.

I was looking forward to sunshine, as that was forecast for the weekend. It's a bank holiday weekend too. In bed this morning, I was wondering whether I'd get to wear shorts for the first time this year. I got up ,opened the curtains ..........and no sunshine to be seen

It hasn't rained (yet), but has looked like it's about to at any minute - all day. I have one eye on my laptop and the other eye on the washing line in case I need to make a dash for the clothes.
