Do you think I could make a living as a gay porn star?
#1
I really don't find anything else interesting...except being a stripper.
Btw I'm in healthcare...for now...
Idk if I'm good looking enough. Sure my friends tell me I am but they're my friends.

Face and upper body definately are really nice.

Tho I don't know much about porn industry and I have no idea how many acutally become "star".

I doubt you can make a living at it.

That is not a reflection on you, its a reflection on the industry and the current trends on where people are going to get their dose of erotica.

With the advent of the internet and Porn-Tube and all of those other wild and crazy sites that allow folk to upload video of their activities, becoming a porn 'star' is extremely difficult.

Unless you have something that is worth shelling out $20.00 for a tape/dvd when I can get many hours of porn for free.

Cute boyish good looks are a dime a dozen. Even large endowments are not hard to find for free on the inter-webs.

I can also get free photos, so I no longer need to buy magazines or even walk into the porn-store, I can do all of that in the comfort of my own home and get some pretty wild stuff from amateurs who I can convince myself I am more likely to meet and have a chance with than say Jeff Stryker, Ken Ryker, and all of those other well known individuals.

Even strippers are going to find it more difficult. The whole 'go and see a person dancing with a pole' is being replaced by surfing the net.

Even prostitutes are looking at a major job loss as they will be replaced with robots over the next few decades. http://news.discovery.com/tech/robot-pro...20423.html

Healthcare is a 'sound' career if you want to have money to live on. Sure its boring, but robotics and computers are likely to replace you for another 2 decades or so. Prostitutes will be replaced before health care professionals.

I don't think that's a great idea Dj, you look great so that's not the problem, but the job itself is not exactly reliable. I think you should stick to your job, and if you are really into the porn industry, go for it ( that's a little selfish on my end :p if you do make sure you link :$) but don't make it your profession, just do it for the heck of it and to satisfy your curiosity Wink

You probably could make a career out of it if you want, I've had friends men and women who have done it and have gone on to be quite successful. My friends sister was a pole dancer and now she owns 2 of the most popular and high class 'gentlemens clubs' in the city where I live, but only because she kept to her morals.

You are definitely a handsome man mr and only you can make the choice but think of the following.

1) are you gonna be able to support yourself for the rest of your life on the money you earn doing porn?

2) if you do, do porn what are your limits? Protection? Bareback? Bondage? Are you going to stick to your guns and say no if you don't want to do anything?

3) are your chances of getting employment elsewhere after doing porn good? (typically no as employers can now search you on the Internet and will see you've done porn).

Healthcare is a sound career and only you can make the choice in what you want to do, I hope whatever you choose it goes well for you.

I gotta say though the free porn sucks mostly. I've found myself paying for porn several times. The free websites don't have a lot of hot stuff. I could never replace a night out with strippers with naked guys pictures on my laptop.

You might have to buff it up a bit if you are considering work in the United States... for Prague, maybe your natural looks are enough... Do you really want to go into porn??? What are you expecting to get out of it? Because if it's a good shag, I think you're in for a disappointment, and some frustrations.

I would really give it a good think... Is it (quick) money you are after? Is it fame? Is it just non stop sex? Is it a nervous breakdown and depression? Is it self loathing? Is it discrimination once people find out what you've done? Are you sure you have the mental strength for it? Are you sure you won't get into heavy drugs to sustain your drive to work in that line of business... Check out what former porn stars have become and have to say.
