I am miffed! I don't have digital tv so I can only watch some programmes on my computer. Sunday night just happens to be Being Human and Heroes night. The "up to 8 mbps" broadband speed I pay for each month is operating at 410 kbps - too slow to watch any live streaming :mad: :mad:

So ... I decide to download the programmes instead, something, I've never done before, and discover that it takes more than twice the time to download them that it will to watch them. I am mightily disillusioned. I've not had issues like this since pre-ADSL internet connections.

Freeview isn't an option here since the signals don't reach this far into the Marshland. Surely I am not expected to get a satellite dish?!! What happens when the analogue signal is switched off?!! I'll just have to please my neighbours with more drum practice

Lol, I think this is a cause for us just to get the DVDs when they come out. If the shows are worthwhile, and they seem to be, we can enjoy them over and over again. You'll just have to be patient and wait till they come out...

Are suitcases x-rayed en route to the hold? I still haven't come to a decision over whether customs will accept that I only have 30+ dvds on me because Amazon deliver free in the UK!

I am so annoyed with this. Even on iTunes when I paid $35 for an entire season before leaving on a trip, I thought we would be talking minutes to download, not hours, even with high speed internet and whatnot. Another boring flight :mad:

But True Blood and Damages were worth the wait.
