I don't know very many GLBT people outside of the internet, being the shy and introverted person I am.
I found Gayspeak through a Google search. I must say this is easily one of the best websites I have ever visited period, gay-related or otherwise.
How often can one say they belong to a site completely filled with kind, understanding mature people ready to offer advice, comfort, or general fun at a moment's notice? How often can one say that they belong to a site where fights and flame-wars and trolls hardly, if at all exist?
I have made some very wonderful friends here, whom I hope to meet in person some day. I have been able to gain advice on troubles in my own life, and hopefully have been able to soothe or console others with my own thoughts and perspectives.
What more can I say except I love being a member here, and I would like to continue to be a part of all your lives here for as long as you would allow me to  Bless you all.

i also found it googling "gay forum". I love the fact that it offers me a channel where i can release some of the pent-up feelings inside in what otherwise is a very "straight" lifestyle. I'm glad I've made important progresses since joining (i've told my mom and some of my friends) and I KNOW that I will continue to break new barriers - just one baby step at a time.
Frankly, gs has offered more than I could ask for. It kept me entertained too xD
