What's the craziest thing you've heard that people say "causes" homosexuality? I heard it was TV! XD

I'm a Freud fan but I would have to say his *beliefs that it came from an overbearing mother in men and the desire to have a penis in women.
After that, I'd have to say the claim we're possessed by demons.

One mind boggling thing I heard a teen say was she didn't shave her legs with her friend (who'd also be shaving her own legs) because that would "make her gay." If she meant it would turn her gay then perhaps that's the winner, OTOH, if she meant it "proved" she was gay then...well I say she still gets a dishonorable mention.

well, my dad thinks it's "scientifically" proven that homosexuality is caused by either sexual abuse as a child or a lack of a father figure. and yet somehow he scored 145 on a college i.q. test.

soy milk; not popular in n america/ europe but the other 2/3 of the planet exclusively use soy milk in place of cow's milk.

looking at any opinion seemingly backed up by scientific evidence look at the sample size. For example if they tested 100 people, the sample size is just not big enough. In many cases its impossible to find a quality sample size and the study should be dropped. Even if someone has paid big money to fund the study

My father and I weren't close, but he was there for me if I needed him. He's there more now. I'm not gay, because of that.

I would have to agree. Most of the population seems to think its a conscious choice, not a pre disposed genetic trait.
