ssm approved by general vote

last night was good for the gays.

after a vote count the State of Washington approved SSM by general referendum in a public vote. Also Maine. First time for this in the US.

Minnesota voter results sided with us.

Maryland affirmed existing legislation.

I was ecstatic last night. Certainly a watershed moment for the LGBT community. Marriage equality is legal in nine states now and Washington DC. A sitting president that endorses marriage equality got elected back into office. I was jumping up and down in front of my tv last night.
