Well I'm not afraid to get old. I look forward to new experiences and fun times.
I don't think I'v had many bad experiences. I guess once I got punched in the face on valentines day. It was romantic u.u

As much as I think I would really love the independence, I'm afraid of all the responsibilities...

I forgot to mention in my other post in this thread that at the age of 12 I had my first white/grey hair. It bothered me lots at the time and at that age I assumed that I was aging way beyond my years, it wasn't until my Father told me that it was a trait inherited through his family that I stopped worrying about it. My Father's Uncle had a full head of white hair at the age of 5. The colour of my hair is not a part of my personality, I don't need to dye it to try and fit in with my age group either.

Yes, when I was a kid! Not shocking by todays standards though.

My grandmother turned white pretty early in life, well, I didn't know that, mum told me. As it happens, I've inherited a few traits from the lovely lady... one of them was greying at the age of 34-35, which is definitely not on my father's side. I must say having my brother die at that time did nothing to help. I don't mind having white hair, in fact.

I know it's no comfort to you, Joseph, but I was 43 before I met Marshlander, so it was many long years alone... Now even though we are partners we still spend far too long without each other when we're both working in our respective countries. Keep, hoping, Joseph.

The only negative I see from having it is how some people my age judge me because of it, but then it becomes a positive because I then realise that I don't have to deal with their ignorance on a regular basis. I actually quite like it, plus it makes me a little more unique.
