Anime, anyone?
#61
I like some animes, I've watched some parts of Gundam and Eva, and "Another" (a good creepy one) ...some detective / ghosts series etc

now I watch more the ongoing ones, among them I suggest "From the new world", based on a novel, it has a really huge story and, though in the beginning the story goes a bit slow, It now starts getting to the point and driving me furious. I can't wait to watch the new episode tomorrow

For some reason I'm really uninterested in new, currently airing anime. The animation quality is better than before but for some reason the artstyles don't appeal to me as much as older series and they're usually just re-caps of something that's been done better before. Any recommendations from the Winter 2013 line-up that might change my opinion? c:

I adore unique artstyles, huge fantastical worlds and shows that get you thinking. For something less serious perhaps just some charming Azomanga-esque comedy thingie :3

This is mostly out of curiosity, but there seem to be some hardcore anime fans on here. Have any of you seen the original or revamped Guyver anime?! When I talk to most anime fans they never heard of it. Its one of my guilty pleasure anime XD

I'm also a huge Gundam fan. Specifically Gundam Wing. It's not really a series that follows the main Gundam story arc. It takes place in an alternate universe. Duo Maxwell was so hawt. (Ah, we were both so young back then.)

Also Get Backers is great in my opinion. I don't know many people who have watched this series. For some reason I'm really attracted to it and can watch episodes any time. Unfortunately it's series was ended early and doesn't really have a clear ending.

GTO or Great Teacher Onizuka is also an excellent series. It's about a 22 year old ex-biker gang member who winds up becoming a teacher. Not only does he teach his class about life, but they teach him about responsibility.

It's a legend amongst my brother and I. We only watch it when we're together. Same with Ranma 1/2.

A brilliant anime; favorable and nostalgic to the days of the rising sun. Watch on a spring night with a bowl of ramen for best results. Uzi

Finished watching Natsume Yuujinchou last night, and it definitely falls into my top 5. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. I may have to start the manga whilst I wait to see if they'll make another season.

For now I'll be starting Psycho Pass, it sounds pretty interesting :3
