Well, if I am to put all of the different dr.s information together and follow their eating regime, then I would be dead....as I am apparently supposed to only eat lettuce and drink water.

Like thats ever gonna happen.

Basically, no starches, no fried food, no butter, no fats, nothing that will turn to sugar in my blood...such as melons and some other fruits.

So, Im pretty much supposed to be a human rabbit.

super spicy sweet n sour dipping sauce:

3:2 ratio ginger to garlic. (this is to taste)
1 and 1/2 tablespoons of fish sauce
lotsa brown sugar
rice vinegar - about 1/4 cup?
oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 tablespoons sriracha + 1/2 tablespoon of tabasco

heat oil in pan and add garlic and ginger. cook low heat until soft.

add hot sauces

add rice vinegar

add all the other crap to taste.

reduce.

it should be dark, with a dull red oil on top, and be thick but not thick enough to coat a spoon. It's like the consistency of syrup.

It's very spicy.

Something I never understood is why people throw away the wing tips of chicken wings!

They're the BEST PART of fried chicken!

They're so crunchy and crispy and oh my god are the best for dipping.

Homemade meat sauce:
*5 big tomatoes, or maybe 8 roman tomatoes
*2lb of ground beef or any other kinds of meat, or combination of it
*2 Red Onions diced or julienned
*1 pack of white mushroom
*1 cup of yogurt
*Salt and pepper to you liking
*Oregano and basil to your liking

1. Put grounded beef into a mixing bowl, then put oregano, salt, black pepper, chili pepper and basil to the amount of your liking. Then mix the mixture with your hands.
2. Brown the beef mixture in a large pot until it's kind of like taco beef thing.
3. Put the dice onion and mushroom in the pot and put some more slat and pepper. Fry the mixture until they are soft and looks edible.
4. Squish or mash the tomato into a mush of juice with potato masher or a electric mixer.
5. Put the mashed tomatoes in the beef mixture, then put the whole small can of tomato paste and 1 cup of yogurt.
6. Stir them for 5 minutes or so, then let them simmer at low heat for 30 minutes and it's done!

Strawberry Napoleons

Ingredients
1 package (17-1/4 ounces) frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 tablespoon butter
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
TOPPING:
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
Additional confectioners' sugar


Directions
On a lightly floured surface, roll out each pastry sheet to a 9-in. square. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Gradually add milk until smooth. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until thickened and bubbly. Reduce heat; cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Remove from the heat. Stir a small amount of hot filling into egg yolks; return all to pan, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle boil; cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Remove from the heat. Gently stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into a bowl; cover surface with plastic wrap. Refrigerate, without stirring, until chilled.
For topping, beat cream in a chilled large bowl until it begins to thicken. Add sugar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form.
Place one pastry square on a serving platter. Top with the custard, strawberries, sweetened whipped cream and second pastry. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 12 servings.

for the simplicity stakes of vegetarian food.

1kg frozen garden green peas (they are usually just as good in quality as fresh, at least in aussie land)
tiny bit of thyme and oregano
stock of your choice
1 jalapeno
1 small onion
fresh dill.

Basically all you want to do is heat the onion, jalapeno and herbs up in the stock slowly until they start to simmer, make a cheap mans quick broth with them. Then simmer the peas in the stock until they are cooked.

Blend it up nice and smooth in the thickness you want (just use less of the stock when blending for it to be thicker).

Stir in some of the dill finely chopped, and garnish with one sprig on dill on the top. Oh and a crack of fresh black pepper. Don't cook the dill, it adds a much nicer fresh flavor when used raw.

Serve with something cheap and baked fresh like ciabatta or french loaf bread.

OPTIONAL: The recipe is actually for mint (mint and green peas goes well, but I dislike mint) you can also swirl in some cream or sour cream if you wish. I don't with this soup though. I did enjoy it with a dash of lemon rind though!

Homemade potato chips (the crispy type)

using a mandolin or a vegetable peeler, cut potato into thin thin slices. This is easier if you cut the top off first creating a flat surface to continue peeling.

salt it, (or don't salt it, that way you get more pure potato) and add flavourings such as smoked paprika, aonori seaweed, or today I used hong you, oil which is infused with chilli szechuan pepper and chilli powder.

If you want to, you can add a little bit of oil.

Lay a sheet of baking paper in the microswave. Place slices of potato in one layer on the microwave (do in batches if need be) and microwave for about 5 minutes at 700W, or until the potato slices are browned.

So easy and if you want it can be fat free and sodium free. Never buying packaged chips again.
