I had a summer fling with this guy at university. He said he was straight but he was awfully good at finding me and seemed to enjoy all things gay.

As far as I know, Chuck considers himself to be straight, but we had sex on and off for years (it was his second wife that caught us, but we fooled around a few times during his first marriage too). Chuck is a really great guy. When he got his divorce from his first wife, he came and stayed a few weeks with me. His first wife didn't know we were fooling around, and I can honestly say that Chuck is the only guy I have every had sex with knowing that he was married. I can justify it all I want by saying that his wife was cheating on him too (which she was; I actually SAW her blow a guy through a window when Chuck wasn't home one day), but I always felt really guilty about it. Then he married his second wife and she didn't like me RIGHT OFF (I have always wondered if he had told her he planned to sleep with me). The first day I was there visiting them, she was such a total bitch to me that when Chuck made a pass at me later on I didn't hesitate.

I am gonna briefly address a post I read above (sorry I don't remember who posted it, and I didn't plan to address it, so I didn't quote it).
I have been with several "straight" guys. It all really depends on what you call "straight", which (being a label) I don't like. The reason I call them "straight" is because that is what they call themselves. Now please understand,I am not just thinking back and counting the guys who initially SAID they were straight, because if I did the list would be much larger. I am only counting guys who either went on to marry women AND are still married to those (or different women) and guys who have kids by women they still live with. Which, for me, brings the number of "straight" guys I have had sex with to a grand total of 4.
HOWEVER, if I were to also count the guys I have had sex with who identified as "straight" and I don't know what happened to them after we slept together (wether they continued to date females or started dating guys), then the number is rather higher.

A few Examples (all names have been changed to protect the guilty!):
1) I had a neighbor who lived under me, Tommy, who came to my apartment drunk while his girlfriend was a work and told me he had always wanted to try sex with a guy. I was moving to another state in a couple of days, so I did it. ----Didn't count him.
2) One of my roommates from college, Danny, and I got TRASHED the day of graduation and he asked me to fuck him in the ass. I tried to give him a reach-around but he didn't want me to touch is dick, he just wanted me to fuck him. -----Didn't count him.
3) Hal, an married artist I share a studio with for a couple of years, offered me a blowjob while we were somking a joint at work on day. He is still married to his wife and they have a baby girl now. ----Counted him.

At risk of coming across as a total whore, I can honestly say that most people don't really appreciate exactly how curious "straight" guys are. I don't just jump in bed with every swing dick; if I'm not attracted to a guy I won't fuck them.
True story: I had a landlord in his late SIXTIES who showed up beating on my door around 3am one morning with his fly unzipped. When I opened the door, he said "I want to try Man-Love.".

let's be clear....a guy is NOT str8 if he's actively looking for m/m contact.....he's at least bi....maybe closeted gay......all that said, with all the pressure that still exists in the world, many such men live "str8" lives and cheat on their spouses to get their male-male needs met.

Just go to any local adult bookstores that have an "arcade" or "theater." You'll see that 70-75% of the guys there have wedding rings on.

In my opinion sexuality is so much diverse that none can be so sure of his disire and his attraction. Just my reading the posts in this thread see how many people identify themselvs as straight and living mostly a heterosexual life while they had or still have homosexual disires which may lead to the action of having sex with an another man or not.
