Worries about HIV testing

Remember it's not the results of the test that are bad -- it's having the disease. Having the disease and not knowing is even worse. I remember my first test and yes, I was nervous. I was much more nervous about not knowing, especially as at that point I did not have a steady partner. The HIV results took 20 minutes, but the rest took a week for the blood work. I would much rather know than wonder and worry.
