The link below is for a note I just read in which, apparently, there´s a legal process going on down in México that basically is trying to make the use of words like “maricón” or “puñal” (=synonyms of “faggot” illegal in both the public and the private sphere. What do you think about that?

The Supreme Court of Justice of México is calling this kind of words “hate speech”

Mexico’s National Council to Prevent Discrimination released a statement saying: “The historic resolution … marks the first precedent in the discussion of the limits of freedom of expression versus the right to non-discrimination.”
