What a day so far, been on hold for ages on the phone listening to the worst music ever! Still waiting on parcels that are 6 days late.

Work has been pretty crazy this last 2 weeks. Fed up of area managers making crackpot decisions on how things should be run when they have never worked a day on the shop floor in their lives. We have so few staff currently that customers are walking away pissed off because they have been waiting so long, and stuff isn't being done and orders not fulfilled because we are so stretched we just don't have enough time. Tis a joke. I am generally a laid back person, but I would love to smack a few people silly right about now, most of them unreasonable customers who have clearly not worked in retail either, and if they have, should bow their heads in shame for being such pricks when they can clearly see we are run ragged.

Terrible. If not having water isn't bad enough listening to my dad bitch about everything is worse....

That and can't seem to find an electrician, I've got voicemails and no returned calls. I'm just exhausted, he's done nothing but complain about everything... And now the gas fireplace stopped working in the living room... He won't turn the furnace on because apparently it is in bad shape and in his head it is more expensive to run... So much for R&R. I also have an endoscopy this week too, so yay, this is shaping up to be an awful couple weeks, I mean I kind of wish I was at work so I could at least get a break from this crap...

Hmmmm pissed off as the phone I bought off ebay last week has stopped working as it should do. The softkeys have failed, so I cant press back, home or apps keys anymore. So now I got to fight to get my money back. Why sell a faulty item to someone pretending its a working item ffs?

I'm content. I've settled in to my new job and there's plenty to do - I don't like being bored. I'm also off over Christmas and New Year which I really appreciate still since my chef days. I just can't wait to spend time with the fam over the weekend, although in a way it's this run up to Christmas that is the best bit because once it's actually Christmas Day it just seems to be over in a flash.
