How are you today?

Bermuda believe it or not, unlike most countries I know of;

Is Matrilineally governed.

Your Mother has to have been born here.

But I'll gladly accept your ass on my island's behalf and behest!

Just mind ya passage throughout the arduous seas and sand bars boo.
And the Sargasso is not a place lovely to be caught in either, so best to stay on the direct route Sheep

Tho I fear NYC will seek recompense for dissolving bonds with such a kind as yourself sis.

Does it count for anything that it was my dads mom who was Haitian?
And you know I'd never leave my island unless it got real bad. Despite being the bitch that birthed him, I know this city will put up a fight.

But just saying, if shit hits the fan, I'm not interested in Canada.

Oh, that sadly won't amount for much on separate islands my dear.

You'll find despite our outward communal appearance, we each operate slightly different internally, and citizenship and the like are not so communally shared.

For instance;

If a local woman has a child in St.Lucia, the Child has ties to here, but it's children do not bear our lineage.

Sort of tricky, but it's definitely a process.

However, don't limit yaself hun! The world is your oyster, especially coming from where you do, so nary a place you should be bar from! Even if only a while!

Thank you, but my mental health is not ready to spare me. I will give more info about it when I get some answers.

But things are finally getting slightly better. Hope you feel better soon too. Rest is what you need.

Getting rest, easier said than done... But I am doing what is best, thank you.

A day has passed without any serious family altercations, for once, so I'm fine 'n' dandy. Sitting back with a cup of coffee and a cigarette. I've narrowly avoided being kicked out twice in the past week.

Watched a movie - La La Land, a realistic story about dreams and life. Love the songs, and they make you wanna dance.

So a friend of mine offered to cut my hair...and he has one of these flowbee things... well he had to remove the guard and well long story short...I have really short hair now...

Cold and lonely.
Damn, wish I had my own place. Would love to have a fireplace that I can fire up.
And would be so nice to have someone to share my time with, sometimes at least.
