I'm great! I'm back in New Jersey with my whole family, all 7 of us, for Christmas. I had my med school interview today and I think it went well. We'll see. Thank God I managed my jet lag (i got home only 3 days ago). I actually had virtually no jet lag this time. I pretty much have the europe->US and vice versa down, i never really get jet lag anymore. My brother, on the other hand, just came from california and he slept the entire day yesterday. In his defense, he had been up all night for a couple of days studying for exams.

It's so nice to be with my family. My one sister knows about me and I plan on telling two more soon. Maybe parents too.

I can finally relax now that this interview is over!

Hooray for the interview... Good luck with telling the parents and managing your return to Europe... You ARE coming back, aren't you? Happy New Year anyway.

I could be better. Today was the first day of school and I wanted to go out looking fresh and ready. I ended up not going at all because of a horrible sore throat I have.

I lost my voice and the doctor said that it's ''something that might need monitoring''.

Good. I hope this year will be better for me on an emotional level. After breaking up with the love of my life to my dad's open heart surgery, I was in rough shape in 2010. 2011 should be better.

Yes, I too found 2010 to be a bit of a pain in the legendary arse.... with lots of mishaps, some great, some small... but obviously it was a year to test my capabilities to rise to the occasion and adapt. I suppose one has to take stock and move on, no?
